Andy worked for many years with vulnerable and excluded people within the community. This  involved acting as a Homeless Outreach worker, Appropriate Adult (for adults) and working within the Criminal Justice System.  He also worked as a consultant for a large Drug and Alcohol charity. ​ Andy has been published on a variety of media.

Since stepping back, Andy has become a keen blogger; he blogs on a variety of subjects, often using them to describe the ‘Human Condition.’  He also posts short stories and Psychogeographical pieces.

Andy has always been a passionate believer in communicating with the wider public and enjoys talking to local groups.
